What you will be able to do

  • Develop, build and test mechatronic systems autonomously
  • Predict and adjust characteristics and interactions of mechanical, electronic and software components
  • Development and commissioning of an autonomous, wheel-based mobile platform
  • Practical skills in development, production and integration of mechatronic systems
  • Further develop teamwork and problem solving in interdisciplinary projects

What the module consists of

  • Project workCentral element: design and construction of the robot in a team; basis for assessment
  • Tutorials and lecturesConveying the necessary theory and methods
  • Laboratory sessionsPractical implementation: mechanics, actuators, sensors, programming and testing

Teaching method

  • Team projectPromotes independent application of learned material to a real, interdisciplinary system
