What it is about

You develop a prototype device for hearing screening in interdisciplinary teams and learn how medical diagnostic problems can be solved technologically. In the end you will be able to prototype technical solutions, assess the requirements of medical device approval and economic exploitation, and develop project ideas up to startup concepts.

What you will be able to do

• Assess strengths and problems of heterogeneous, interdisciplinary teams
• Recognize your own strengths in technology development
• Consider ethical aspects of product development (patient safety, data protection)
• Translate basic knowledge into pragmatic solutions
• Assess the economic foundations of a business idea and develop startup ideas
