What it is about

You will learn the fundamentals and practical applications of generative AI, including modern models such as transformer architectures, Large Language Models, and Stable Diffusion. In the end you will be able to apply prompt engineering, load open-source models and fine-tune them, as well as assess opportunities, risks, and security aspects of generative AI.

What you will be able to do

  • Deeply understand generative AI, including historical development
  • Apply prompt engineering to increase productivity
  • Use generative AI in various application areas
  • Assess ethics, compliance, and risk issues in the context of generative AI

What the module consists of

  • LectureConveying the theoretical foundations and concepts
  • Exercises / DemonstrationsConsolidation of the lecture material through practical tasks
  • Project workApplication and deepening in a practically oriented implementation project
  • PresentationSummary and communication of project results

Teaching method

  • LectureExplanation of the technical and conceptual foundations
  • Integrated exercises and demonstrationsConsolidation of knowledge through practical application in small groups
  • Independent experimentationEncourages autonomous deepening and trying things out
  • Project work and group workEnables application, integration of knowledge, and project management experience
