Technical Writing (Engineer Your Text!)

What it is about

In this workshop you will learn to compose technical texts efficiently and user-oriented. You will practice material and process understanding for text production, quality management, and verification methods, so that you can create TUM-compliant (Technical, Understandable, Manageable) documents in the end.

Identify psychological factors in writing and reading
Recognize the needs of different target groups
Demonstrate sensitivity to usability requirements
Analyze technical documents and localize best-practice features
Organize and manage your own writing processes
