Ethik und Verantwortung II

What it is about

You engage more deeply with selected questions of applied ethics (e.g. environmental, science, technology, medicine, or information/media ethics) and learn to philosophically analyze central arguments. In the end you can reproduce the main positions of a topic area, apply them to current problems, and formulate your own, written, reasoned statement.

What you will be able to do

• Transfer of ethical arguments to other contexts
• Knowledge of the current state of the discussion
• Written formulation and argumentative justification of your own position

What the module consists of

• SeminarStudents independently work on literature, present in presentations and discuss ethical arguments in the group
