You learn the fundamentals of digital signal processing: signals and systems in the time and frequency domain, discretization, filter operations, frequency transformations, compression techniques and initial aspects of digital image processing. You also learn how the algorithms are implemented on a digital signal processor (DSP) and apply these implementations in the lab. In the end you can analyze theoretical concepts and practically implement suitable algorithms.
