Guided Research

What it is about

Over about 6 months you work on a small, research-oriented computer science project under close supervision. You independently research the current state of the art, develop your own, narrowly scoped result using scientific methods, and write an English results report; you also present the results in a short talk.

What you will be able to do

• Independent scientific literature research
• Analysis and evaluation of essential aspects of a clearly delimited research area
• Development of your own (narrowly scoped) research results with scientific methods
• Structuring and drafting scientific texts in English
• Presentation of results in a short talk

What the module consists of

• Research projectImplementation of the project within a predefined/limited time frame of about 6 months and a scope of 300 self-study hours; development of a solution for a research-oriented problem
• Supervision meetingsRegular feedback, notes for improvement and further approach
