What it is about

You learn concepts and algorithms for the management of transactions in database systems as well as mechanisms for fault handling (Recovery). In the end you will be able to design ACID-compliant transactions, evaluate Concurrency-Control procedures and practically apply Recovery procedures — also in distributed scenarios.
