What it is about

You will receive an introduction to the international governance of Artificial Intelligence. Based on theoretical foundations and concrete case studies, you will learn key norms, standards and institutions and, in the end, be able to describe structural patterns as well as drivers of current governance and regulatory approaches by international and national actors.

  • Substantive understanding of international AI governance efforts
  • Recognition of common normative patterns and dynamics across different governance approaches
  • Understanding of the most currently emerging governance frameworks and their drivers
  • Insight into the role of technology governance in the geopolitical context
