Process tracing: Methods and applications

What it is about

In this module you will learn about various process-tracing methods used to investigate psychological decision-making processes (e.g., eye movements, verbal protocols, skin conductance, functional imaging, information panels). You will learn which methods are suitable for which questions, which process measures they provide, and how to interpret these data. You will also discuss the limitations of the methods and their application to the development and testing of cognitive process models as well as to the design of interventions to improve decision-making behavior.
