Models in the study of human behavior

What it is about

You learn how formal models (mathematically or in programming language) are used to explain human behavior, to empirically test it and to apply it to practical questions (e.g., consulting, policy). By the end you will be able to distinguish different model classes, assess their strengths and limitations, and make rational model decisions for research or applications.

• Recognize which questions are suited to which model classes
• Ability to interpret and evaluate models in the literature

What the module consists of
