What it is about

You will learn the legal foundations of banking and capital market law, from payment systems and banking transactions through money laundering law, loans and collateral, to capital market regulation, prospectuses, market manipulation and crypto regulation. In the end you will be able to describe legal relationships between banks, customers and investors, analyze financing forms and apply capital market regulatory requirements to corporate practice.

• Classify forms of payment services and financial instruments legally
• Identify equity and debt financing and analyze it for corporate purposes
• Derive and translate capital market provisions and prohibitions into practice
• Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of capital market-oriented financing compared with bank financing
• Summarize results in writing in a report
