Project and Innovation Management: Design thinking methodology

What it is about

In the seminar you will learn the design-thinking methodology and apply it to develop user-centered solutions for real problems. In the end you will be able to structure design-thinking phases (empathy, ideation, prototyping, iteration) and apply them to innovation questions — for example in family-owned businesses, technology, sustainability, or internal processes; you will also learn how AI can support the process.

What you will be able to do

• Core principles of Design Thinking (empathy, ideation, prototyping, iteration) name
• Define and rephrase problems in a user-centered way
• Apply different ideation techniques (e.g., brainstorming, mind mapping, rapid sketching)
• Practically run the Design-Thinking process from problem definition to implementation
