Advanced Seminar Innovation & Entrepreneurship: Organization Studies

What it is about

You engage with current questions of how organizations cope with pressure from AI, sustainability, talent mobility and crises. You learn theoretical approaches to organization studies and apply them to analyze a theory-based research question or a practical organizational problem.

What you will be able to do

understand current theoretical developments in organizational research
analyze relevant scientific literature on a research question
evaluate theoretical arguments and empirical findings
apply organization-theoretical concepts to practical challenges
develop a coherent scientific argument on a focused research question

What the module consists of

SeminarYou work in supervised groups on a topic from a predefined list and develop a theory-based seminar paper; intermediate results are presented and discussed.

Teaching method

Instructor-Inputs on scientific writing, methods and argumentationto convey theory, methodological approaches and scientific arguing
Supervised group workto conduct research in teams, integrate feedback and produce joint works
Presentations and defense in the sessionto foster analytical argumentation and discussion skills
