What it is about

You will learn fundamentals, techniques and applications of Explainable AI (XAI). The goal is to make AI systems more interpretable, transparent and verifiable, and to understand and critically assess their significance for ethics, fairness and societal consequences.

  • Understanding of Explainable AI, concepts and challenges
  • Relation of XAI to ethics, fairness and verifiability
  • Knowledge of various explanation techniques and their evaluation
  • Familiarity with existing XAI libraries and their application
  • Ability to write scientific summaries
  • Ability to critically discuss and present research articles
