What it is about

You work in a team as ESG Office of a company on transforming a business area. You develop an ESG-driven business model, substantiate the sustainability value contribution, and defend the solution in a simulated board meeting.

What you will be able to do

• Explain regulatory and market-driven drivers of ESG in the corporate context
• Analyze mechanisms of effect between ESG practices and corporate innovation
• Assess ESG-related innovation approaches as substantive transformation or symbolic conformity
• Develop an ESG-driven business model for a concrete company
• Present your solution to a critical professional audience

What the module consists of

• Block seminar (three in-person blocks, each 9:00–13:00)Introduction, deepening, simulation, and presentation of the project work
• Supervised self-study periodsAnalysis of sustainability reports and elaboration of the project between the blocks
• Team projectDevelopment and written elaboration of a business model and preparation of the presentation
• Simulated board meetingPresentation and defense of the business model before instructors in the role of CEO
