Methods and Databases in Empirical Finance

What it is about

You will learn the basics of empirical capital market research: theoretical concepts, common methods for data analysis, as well as handling important financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, WRDS) and relevant software tools. In the end you will be able to procure, preprocess and analyze data with appropriate analytical procedures, and practically work on simple empirical financial questions.
